Orange cat + lasagna dinner = happy kids
There are plenty of moms out there who are “extra” AF when it comes to doing things for their kids, but none more so than this mom, whose very specific request to “borrow” an orange cat is going viral on Twitter.
Twitter user @lauren_jade44 shared a “wanted” sign featured at her dad’s workplace, and it’s unlike anything you’ll ever find on a workplace bulletin board. In it, the mom shares her desire to borrow an orange cat for 24-48 hours to have dinner with her young children. Why? Well, why else?

A Garfield-esque lasagna dinner of course! In the wanted flyer, the mom promises the cat will be returned happy and cared for. “Cat will not be required to eat lasagna if contraindicated,” the mom, Clara, writes. “Please, no feral cats. And please take your cat back at the end. Not looking to adopt.”
UH-MAZING. I’m actually kind of insulted neither of my parents considered orchestrating a lasagna dinner with me and Garfield myself, considering how much of my childhood was spent watching the cartoon on TV.
Though the request itself is fantastic, the reactions from Twitter users everywhere make this whole post a true gem. Soon enough, people started offering up their own orange kitties up for the task.

As someone who has owned and loved a big, fat, orange cat before — I can verify with 100% authority that orange cats are the cream of the cat crop.
Orange cats are objectively the best. I’m sorry, I don’t make the rules. https://t.co/6PWT0eDZhH
